More than 130 people injured after Barcelona’s Champions League victory 2011

Shortly after FC Barcelona won the  Champions League final in London, riots broke out in Spain. Fans invade the streets to celebrate that Barcelona won the final against Manchester United.

More than 130 people were injured in the clashes between police and supporters of FC Barcelona.  The injured ​​included 37 policemen. In addition, police arrested 84 people. The arrested men had attacked police officers and destroyed property and bus shelters etc. Rioting began when a group of youths threw objects at police. The clashes lasted at least two hours. Police were forced to use rubber bullets.
